Saint Laurent presentó su colección otoño-invierno en la Paris Fashion Week de marzo, hace poco vi el vídeo del desfile y creo que es la primera vez que me gustan todas y cada una de las piezas de una colección, si fuera rica lo compraría todo lol pero como no, solo veo las fotos y babeo.

Saint Laurent presented their autumn-winter collection on march at the Paris Fashion Week, I watched the fashion show recently and I think it's the first time I like every single piece from a collection, if I were rich I'd buy everything lol but I'm not, so I just see the pictures and salivate.

Su director creativo Hedi Slimane claramente se inspiró en el grunge de los 90. Slimane lleva tiempo haciendo cosas geniales pero no le había hecho mucho caso porque obvio todo es muy caro y no puedo comprarlo, pero esta vez sí me enamoró:

Algunos dicen que la colección no es lo suficientemente "haute couture" y sofisticada para una casa como Yves Saint Laurent pero que más da, a mi me encanta, es todo muy rockero, original y usable.

Some people say the collection is not "haute couture" and sofisticated enough for a house like Yves Saint Laurent but whatever, I love it, everything is really rocker, original and wearable.

Y de hecho, Hedi Slimane creo el "Saint Laurent Music Project" en 2012, donde colabora con distinto artistas, entre ellos la propia Courtney, Daft Punk, Marilyn Manson y Sky Ferreria, quien además es la cara de la colección prefall 13.

Los vestidos baby doll, las camisas de cuadros, las chaquetas súper anchas encima de faldas y shorts minis, las transparencias, el cuero, el encaje, los collares de perlas, las medias negras, las botas con hebillas, el pelo desordenado y esa expresión enfadada y de "todo me importa una mierda" en la cara de las modelos hace que la colección sea, para mi gusto, perfecta.


The baby doll dresses, plaid shirts, super big jackets over mini skirts and shorts, transparencies, leather, lace, pearl necklaces, black tights, buckles boots, the messy hair, that angry facial expression and "I don't give a fuck" attitude on the models made this collection, for my tastes, perfect.
